Stila

While loading this box with bath salts and other goodies is not a super big deal, getting the color right for Estée Lauder was a feather in our cap. We believe proper, complete planning is critical to the ease and smoothness with which we produce our boxes. In this case we assembled the plate maker, the pre-press manager, the production manager, the press operator, and the ink technician, all around one table to determine how to get our red for this holiday promotion on the kraft substrate. I’m not going to give away any of our trade secrets, but needless to say, the VP of Package Development at Estée Lauder, said our boxes came out better than their east coast suppliers. I thought my train was pulling into the station and asked the VP for Purchasing if that meant I was going to get more business? His answer couldn’t have been more direct and easy to understand, “No.” Makes you wonder, doesn’t it?…I guess I’m just not the right person’s brother-in-law!
